Hi, I’m Rachel! I started Altura Clothing with a clear mission to inspire and empower women through their clothing.
I design all Altura clothing from my apartment in San Francisco, but my designs really come to life in Los Angeles, where our clothing is manufactured. I travel to Los Angeles often to ensure our clothes are being made in proper conditions and with our customer’s best interests in mind.
I was born and raised in New York City and come from a long line of Latina entrepreneurs. Growing up, I always knew I wanted to follow in their footsteps. Small business values and resilience have always been a part of my life and they continue to guide me as I start my journey with Altura.
